Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) is a residential school scheme for girls belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and minority communities. The scheme was launched in July 2004 to ensure access and quality education to girls from disadvantaged groups.
The primary objective of KGBV is to ensure that girls from disadvantaged groups not only get enrolled in school but also complete their elementary education. These schools provide free residential facilities, food, textbooks, and other educational materials to students.
In Chatra district, we have multiple KGBV schools serving hundreds of girls, providing them with a safe and conducive environment for learning and personal growth. Our dedicated staff and modern facilities ensure that every girl receives the best possible education.
